Why C for Corea? A little history for you: before Japan's annexation of
the great nation of “Korea,” it was “Corea.” The imperialists pressured
America and other English speaking nations to spell it with a "K". But
France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico are among many
great futbol nations that use the correct "C" rendering. Moreover,
English convention, too, is on the side of the Corea spelling.
Non-European names are romanized with a "C" (i.e. Cambodia, Canada,
Congo) except where the first letter is followed by an "e" or an "i",
(i.e. Kenya). This shirt is our attempt to get people to put the "C"
back in Corea! So proudly wear your "C is for Corea" shirt! And when
some dumb ass tells you that your t-shirt is misspelled, put him in his
place by dropping your newfound knowledge.
